Welcome to the (not-so) Sandy Dunes of the Bedouin Project

Hello all!

I've decided to start a blog to keep all of you who may be interested updated on my latest adventures while I'm in London. It certainly beats mass emails. I don't know how diligent I'll be about updating this or anything, but I think the more people actually check it out and leave comments, the more motivated I'll be to keep updating.

This blog is not:
  • intended to be terribly deep or philosophical, I think we're all past our teen angst poetry phase
  • going out of its way to be terribly amusing, though sometimes I really just can't help being so gosh darned witty
This blog is:
  • meant to be a day-to-day update of what I've been up to, my experiences in London (and beyond?) etc.
  • a place to leave your comments, greetings, what have you.
That being said, this is just kind of a "beta" version (do you techies like my adoption of the lingo?) and I'd more than welcome any suggestions, feedback for how to improve it so that it's in it's final state by the time I go to London.

Notes to individuals who I know are going to be somewhat troublesome:

Absi: "yyyyyyhour" doesn't count as a comment
Deena & Nicki: Are you happy now? I got a blog
Nesma: Why are you reading this, you're going to be in London WITH me
Robert: keep it clean

Alright all, Salaam

HAHA! Yes, I don't know why, but I'll probably be reading this blog on a regular basis. I'm either a) way too interested in your life, or b) a HUGE loser. I'm leaning towards a bit of both at the moment. But maybe if we hang out enough, I'll get more net-recognition.
